DUE TO
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL, WE HAVE BEEN
DIVERTED FROM MACHALA, ECUADOR TO GUAYAQUIL,
ECUADOR.
WE WILL
BE AT A MILITARY HOSPITAL.
ALL OF
OUR PATIENTS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED AND WILL BE
TRANSPORTED FROM MACHALA TO GUAYAQUIL. IN ADDITION,
OUR HOST “EL CIELO PARA LOS NINOS” HAS STARTED A
RADIO AND TELEVISION CAMPAIGN TO ANNOUNCE OUR
ARRIVAL AND THE TYPES OF SERVICES THAT WE WILL BE
PROVIDING.
NOTHING
HAS CHANGED, WE WILL BE STAYING AT THE ORO VERDE
HOTEL ALL WEEK. TAKING THE BUS TO THE MILITARY
HOSPITAL AND FOLLOWING THE SAME SCHEDULE AS IF WE
WERE IN MACHALA.
I
WILL NEED ALL OF YOUR COOPERATION WHEN WE ARRIVE AT
THE HOSPITAL SO THAT WE CAN EFFICIENTLY SET UP.

BEEN IN CLOSE COMMUNICATION WITH OUR HOST, AND FEEL
VERY CONFIDENT THAT ALTHOUGH OUR DESTINATION HAS
CHANGED OUR MISSION HAS REMAINED THE SAME.

Your medical
supplies must be
gathered and
carefully documented
early in your trip
planning process.
There is a lot of
paperwork required
to take medical
supplies into
Ecuador. We
must begin this
process 5 weeks
before your
departure. At
that point all Boxes
must be packed,
numbered, labeled
with the contents,
and clearly marked
as HTCNE Medical
Supplies.
There must be a list
of all contents
corresponding to the
box number. We
also need the
dimensions and
weight of each box
or bag.
